At S. M Værktøj, we want to put the spotlight on the skilled craftsmen who every day contribute to creating results with high quality, professional pride and good humour.
That's why we're launching 'SMVKT Craftsman of the Year', where we celebrate and reward the three craftsmen who receive the most votes with lavish experiences and prizes.
This initiative is about recognising the people in the industry who make a difference and make an extraordinary contribution to their profession. We invite the entire industry to join the celebration - and it starts with you!

How to proceed
Nominate a craftsman
From 1 February to 31 April, you can nominate a craftsman who deserves the title of 'SMVKT Craftsman of the Year'. See rules below.
Vote for your favourite
All nominees will be featured on our website from 1 May to 30 June, where you can vote for the candidate you think deserves to win.
Winners are announced
1 July: The three craftsmen with the most votes are announced. They are interviewed and receive their prizes during July/August.
Who can be nominated?
You can nominate a craftsman, whether you are a customer, colleague, employee, supplier, partner or employer. The nominee must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Currently working as a craftsman in a craft-related business
Announcement
By participating, the candidate agrees that their name and picture/video may be published on our website. Winners must be willing to pose for photos and interviews.
Voting
You can vote for all nominees, but only once per person.
