BRYNJE LAB OPEN SHOE BOA® SAFETY SHOE

Open safety sandal with large air channels for breathability and upper made of durable and hard-wearing microfibre, 30% of which is recycled.

Innovative sole composition with additional NRGize Foam inserts for intense energy return - a material taken from the world of sports. The sole is composed of a durable rubber outsole and an EVA foam midsole that protects the NRGize Foam insert, which sends the energy from each step back to your feet.

A HeelCTRL insert stabilises the heel and contributes to the good fit of the shoe. The shoe is tightened and loosened with the BOA® Fit System, which sits on top of the PrimeFIT tongue that moulds to the foot with a thin design for a comfortable fit.

The insole is a mix of recycled, upcycled and bio-based PU foam with a CoolMax cover for optimised breathability and moisture wicking.

Lightweight and durable NanoToe™ toe cap in a combination of carbon and composite. Kevlar fibre nail guard approved for 3 mm nails. Durable, approved ProNose in moulded TPU. Certified according to EN ISO 20345:2022 standard. ESD-approved and PVC-free.

EN ISO 20345:2022 - the new approval 

Footwear certified in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2022, has at minimum, a toe cap to protect from falling objects at 200J and compression (15kN). 

S1PS includes the following:

  • SB: Toe Cap
  • SR: Slip resistance (ceramic tile floor with glycerine)
  • Closed heel area
  • A: Anti-static footwear
  • E: Energy absorption of seat region
  • PS: Perforation resistance (non metal insert)

Inner: lining Polyester mesh of 30% recycled material for extra breathability.
